Right. I get this is a crap photo and a different kinda post for me, BUT I have to get some shit off my chest!
A few weeks ago, my dad, not to subtly implied I was overweight/obese (The Prick), this small comment has sat so heavy on my heart (and gut) and has made me second guess myself since.
How can one comment, do so much damage! It has sent me down a rabbit hole of how I speak to myself and how my kids, especially my daughters hear me speak to myself.
This isn’t me fishing for compliments “oh hunz, you look amaze” “inbox me babzzz” It’s not what this post is about, it’s about me laying down the foundations of how I am going to actively choose to talk to myself.
If I could have a wish today, it would be that people use kind words to themselves and to others, so our children, whatever their shape and size always know they are beautiful!
